Automatic tracking needs location permission set to Always, not "While using the app" — the app has to be able to check where you are when it is closed. On Android, also exclude the app from battery optimisation; on iPhone, leave Background App Refresh on.

Days recorded before the gap are unaffected, and you can add the missing ones by hand on the calendar.

Near a border, at sea, or when the geocoder answers oddly, the wrong country can be recorded. Open the day on the calendar and correct it. Your edit wins — nothing overwrites it later.

Settings → Export history writes your whole record as CSV, Excel or PDF and hands it to the share sheet. Do this before you change or wipe a phone: your history lives only on the device, and nobody, including us, has a copy to restore.

Settings → Delete Data for Date Range removes recorded days over any range you pick. Uninstalling the app erases everything it holds.

New phone, or reinstalled the app? Settings → Restore purchases brings back a subscription bought with the same Apple ID or Google account. If it does not, check you are signed in with the account that made the purchase, then write in.

Subscriptions are cancelled in your store account, not in the app — Apple ID settings on iPhone, Google Play subscriptions on Android — at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Full terms are in section 6 of the terms.

Refunds are issued by the store that took the payment. Use reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or your purchase history in Google Play. Tell us what went wrong too — it is usually something worth fixing.
